The program is intended for specialists able and willing to carry out research projects in the field of Applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Students gain skills and knowledge in computer-assisted vision, intelligent vision systems, simulation modeling of complex technological processes, and mathematical modeling of processes. Students learn how to develop and operate autonomous mobile robotic systems, automated information systems and unmanned transport systems.

POSSIBLE RESEARCH AREAS FOR STUDENTS:

 

  • Intelligent systems for unmanned ground vehicles (work with Autoware, Appollo, LGSVL Simulator).
  • Design and simulation adaptive control system.
  • Intelligent control system for UAV (computer vision, HIL-simulation, testing).
  • Computer vision systems (different applications, simulation).
  • Image Recognition with FPGA (simulation, MATLAB + Quartus).
  • Construction of binary neural networks.
  • Intelligent systems for research big data.
  • Design control system detect attack network.
  • Research and development of security protocol for data transfer.
  • Intelligent systems for semantic text analysis.
  • Creation of web applications
  • Investigations in dynamics of plastic deformation processes in FCC materials
  • Students are encouraged to come up with their own research topics and discuss them with their scientific advisors

Required documents (to be submitted online):

 

1) a passport copy;

2) a diploma copy (OR a registrar-issued transcript of grades for the last semester); upon arrival students must provide the admissions committee with an original document;

NOTE! documents received in a foreign country are submitted legalized in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, or with the apostille (except when, in accordance with legislation of the Russian Federation and (or) an international treaty legalization and apostille are not required)

3) certified translation of the diploma and the passport into Russian language (can be submitted upon the arrival)

4) a completed application form (online)

5) other diplomas and certificates proving any other achievements (if available)

6) entrance exams:

                - a motivation letter (1-2 pages)

                - an interview

Tuition fee per each academic year of the Master’s program is RUB 242,715 for students who meet the Program’s requirements and have shown excellent entry results.
